One of the main reasons is the love we have for our country. As Peruvians, we strongly believe in the potential Peru has to offer the best travel services and the best tourist attractions for visitors. We have a passion for service and we love working with people.

Therefore, our team has strong values and believes in what we do, and we consider ourselves ambassadors of the Peruvian culture and we want to show Peru to the world.

We started operations selling our tours to friends living in the United States of America back then around 2010, and through recommendations. During these years, we gained experience and saw weaknesses that guided us to success. We’ve learned that the best way to be sure we are providing good services is by making deep bonds with our tour-guides, our drivers, our representatives and with everybody involved. And we realized that we needed to convey to them our “vision” and our “dream”, which means that we made them part of our expanding family.

Each month, Back to Peru contributes a portion of our revenue to the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco (CTTC), a non-profit dedicated to preserving Cusco’s rich textile heritage. CTTC supports the continuation of ancestral weaving traditions among indigenous artisans who are part of fair-trade weaving communities. We also offer recent tourism graduates an opportunity to experience the travel industry firsthand. They join us for practical experience in daily operations and begin with minor tasks within our Operations Department, earning a small salary. Once they align with our values and procedures, we offer them a position to further their experience before they continue advancing in their careers.
