Itinerary
We start early with pick-up from your hotel and a transfer to the bus station for the 6:30 am departure to Paracas. Upon arrival around 9:45 am, our team will be waiting to escort you to the pier, where you’ll board a speedboat for an unforgettable excursion to the Ballestas Islands.
During this two-hour navigation along the Pacific coast, you’ll observe an impressive variety of marine wildlife, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and countless seabirds. With a bit of luck, you may even spot a humpback whale. Along the way, you’ll also admire the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph etched into the desert hillside.
After returning to Paracas, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch before continuing the journey south to the Huacachina Oasis, a stunning natural lagoon surrounded by towering sand dunes in the heart of the Ica desert. Here, adrenaline takes over with an exciting dune buggy ride across the sands, followed by time to relax, walk around the oasis, or simply soak in the surreal desert scenery.
In the late afternoon, we’ll transfer you to the bus station for your journey to Nazca. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and taken to a comfortable 3-star hotel, where you’ll settle in and rest for the night, ready for the next day’s adventure.
At 8:30 am, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Nazca airport, just a short 15-minute drive away. Upon arrival, you’ll board one of the first scenic flights, departing around 9:30 am, for an unforgettable aerial experience over the legendary Nazca Lines.
During this approximately 36-minute flight, you’ll observe a series of enormous geoglyphs created by the Nazca culture between 500 BCE and 500 CE. From the air, you’ll clearly identify up to 12 iconic figures, including the hummingbird, condor, spider, monkey, whale, tree, and the famous astronaut, all explained by the onboard narration.
After the flight, we’ll transfer you to the bus station for your return journey to Lima. You’ll have time to enjoy lunch at one of the nearby restaurants before boarding the 2 pm bus. Please make sure to be at the station by 1.30 pm for check-in procedures.
The bus arrives in Lima around 10:00 pm, where our team will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel, marking the end of this memorable journey.
